Mr. Balitis practices in the labor and employment area, representing employers in arbitration, litigation, and administrative proceedings. A commercial litigator, he also represents clients in routine business disputes, construction defect litigation and landlord/tenant cases. His labor and employment practice includes counseling employers on personnel policies, restrictive covenants, employee disability issues, drug/alcohol testing, wage and hour issues, and unemployment compensation matters. Mr. Balitis has substantial experience in bringing and defending benefits appeals before the Arizona Department of Economic Security. He frequently publishes articles and presents seminars on labor and employment issues. He also has counseled the Arizona Department of Economic Security and the Arizona legislature on labor and employment law matters.
