"The ADA and Your Business"
About the Training:
PAHRA welcomes Davis A. Hirschfeld, Grant Manager / Program Developer for the New Horizons Disability Empowerment Center. Davis will cover the ADA and Employment related topics followed by a class on reasonable accommodation. Davis served 10 years in the United States Army with three deployments overseas to various war zones. When Davis got out of the Military because of a back injury, he received a 30% disability rating from the VA which has helped him understand the perspectives of people with disabilities entering or reentering the workforce.
Davis is currently the Grant Manager / Program Developer for New Horizons Disability Empowerment Center and has been doing this job for almost 2 years now. He is the only PADA trainer in Northern Arizona and has contacts in Phoenix if PAHRA needs access to other resources.
Reminder* PAHRA Bi-Monthly Meetings are now held on the second Wednesday of every-other month at the Prescott Valley Public Library - Crystal Room.
