"Overcoming the Talent Drought: Recruitment and Retention Strategies for Performance"
By 2020 there is expected to be a shortage of approximately 40 million high-skilled workers and 45 million medium-skill workers. In addition, millennials and Gen Z generations have different expectations than previous generations. Recruitment and retention of productive employees is a major concern of HR professionals, as it is more efficient to retain a quality employee than to recruit, train and orient a replacement employee of the same quality. This session will help identify key areas which contribute to job satisfaction and engagement as key factors of a successful employee retention program. The ability to reduce the “revolving door” of turnover and attract and retain quality employees will ultimately impact the bottom-line performance of the organization through increased performance, productivity, employee morale and quality of work, plus a reduction in both turnover and employee-related problems.
This program will focus on building the right team and retaining your top talent as critical success factors for long-term growth. The session will identify the top strategies to improve your organization’s recruitment.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify needs of Millenials and Gen Z as the next talent pool
- Create a more effective recruitment strategy
- Identify key areas of job satisfaction and engagement
- Create a plan for improving job satisfaction and reducing turnover
