Employment Law Workshop -- April 25, 2018

PAHRA is partnering with Northern Arizona SCORE (an organization of retired executives who mentor small business owners) to provide the following workshop:

WHAT:            “Employment Law—From Hiring to Firing”

WHEN:            Wednesday, April 25, 2018; 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

WHERE:         Yavapai College, Prescott Campus, Building 29

PRESENTER: Laura Hamblin, Attorney & HR Consultant, and PAHRA Government Affairs Director

COST:             $20.00  (Fees fund SCORE’s business development programs)

This workshop is designed for employers of all sizes, with an emphasis on those with less than 50 employees.  Employment laws triggered at each stage of the employment process; recruiting people, hiring people, paying people, managing people, and dismissing people; will be discussed.  Two hours of SHRM and HRCI general certification credit have been requested.
