Financial Leadership for the HR Professional
Employees with financial problems don’t leave them at home when they come to the office. They follow them to the workplace and have a negative impact on the effectiveness of the company!
This program explores how all HR professionals can take an active role in addressing the problem through leadership. Research is cited to understand the root causes and the ways that financial stress can manifest in the workplace. Examples are given to show how employee support needs can differ plus resources that are available to support the HR manager. Effective communication strategies are demonstrated to help drive participation in benefit programs and promote financial wellness.
The purpose is to shed light on an often unseen issue and motivate HR professionals to become leaders in solving the problem. “Financially stable employees make better employees, which in turn make better companies and communities!”
